Join me as I show you how to work with a cup-sized pattern and a fit muslin. We’ll start by taking body and pattern measurements. Then we’ll use them to determine the best cup and pattern size to start with. Before cutting out a custom fit muslin, we’ll compare body measurements with those of the pattern to get all the key areas in the right place. Key areas include the fullness of the bust, waistline and hem. Then I’ll show you common pattern adjustments that you may need to fine-tune the fit of your muslin.
When you’re happy with the fit of your pattern, you’ll be ready to join me for cutting, sewing and finishing! I’ll show you step-by-step how to construct your new favorite button up shirt. There are plenty of tips and tricks along the way to help you get great results!
